Please Don't Over-React

Source: Google

Throughout my pregnancy, I have been more of a happy-go-lucky mummy except for the first trimester as oppose to those paranoid mummies out there. Don't get me wrong, I am not here to condemn as everyone is entitled to their own opinions. What I meant by paranoid is over-worrying to the point where you almost live in a glass bubble. To the point that it gets quite irritating.

I have been given "advises" on what you should or shouldn't do, what you should or shouldn't eat etc. To me, I only listen to one person and that's Dr Delaila. I feel pregnant mums should not over-react, our bodies are made tough. The baby in your womb is made tough. To me, so long as everything is done in moderation then everything will be fine.

And we all know the cause of miscarriages is primarily due to your body's natural reaction to "expel" anything that is unhealthy, or due to a fall, or due to sickness ... not due to what you eat or what you do.

Food:
I have been eating as normal except for half-boil eggs and raw food (risk of bacteria), clams (risk of Hepatitis), and pineapple. All the above were told by Dr Delaila to not consume. Aside from that, I've been told by others to not eat "cooling" stuff like watermelon, "heaty" stuff like durians, and "herbal" stuff like bak kut teh.

Honestly, I still eat them when I feel like it. I just don't eat a lot of those and I eat them less frequently. Come on! Two slices of watermelon won't cause miscarriage! Once in two months of bak kut teh won't cause miscarriage! Pineapple slices in a slice of pizza won't cause miscarriage! Don't be too paranoid!!

In fact, just past few days I had Japanese with Bear and took two slices of sashimi. If others find out, I'm sure to be lectured. It's only two pieces, what harm will it cause?

I still enjoy my coffee and tea occasionally (although Dr Delaila say try to avoid), but I have taken the effort to cut down a lot. No big deal. *shrug*

Of course certain items are a big no-no like alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs.

Carrying Heavy Stuff:
I work in an office and would sometimes required to carry files. I just make sure that it is within my limitation and I don't over-exert. I don't believe that once you are pregnant you should be immobile and just sit and do nothing. Being pregnant doesn't mean that you are disable! You are still as capable as the rest of your colleagues.

Radiation:
This is the worse "do not do" item I have ever heard!! Stay away from handphones! Stay away from computer! Heloo!!!! Before you were pregnant also you were exposed to these items what - why now only you want to be so overly concerned?? Your baby is strong enough to withstand it ok. Takkan you want to live in a  bubble wrap?

In fact, I am typing this blog post using the laptop which is resting on my lap. *gasps* Radiation alert? I think not.

With lots of prayer, trusting God, doing everything in moderation, keeping yourself joyful and happy - everything will fall into place. :)

Pregnancy Update: Week 24 @ 6 months - End of Second Trimester

My 6 months baby bump *heart*

Wow time flies huh? Without realising, I am at the end of my second triemster and entering into the final trimester. *gulp* don't think of labour

Pregnancy Glow:
My second trimester has been a breeze and I am very blessed. So enjoyable! People have said that I look radiant *ahem* - I guess it's the pregnancy glow huh?

Body Shape:
Also, at 6 months my tummy still doesn't look too big. Honestly, I don't feel big-sized nor do I walk like a penguin. However, my appepite did increase as in like at around 4:00 - 4:30pm I would be hungry. That being said, after my tea-time snack, I won't be able to finish my dinner later in the day from being still full.

Cravings:
My cravings were pretty mild and subdue - usually they are proper meals and even if I do crave occasionally in-between meals i.e. supper or dessert, I will only take half the portion. Blessing in disguise eh? That way, I don't baloon up and losing those pregnancy weights would be easier. :)

Stretch-Marks:
With great joy, I would like to announce that so far there are no unsightly stretch marks *fingers cross*. Of course, I am using lotion (Pureen by the way - review will be up soon) but honestly am not very diligent in applying it. Mum said the major contributing factor is my genes cos she don't have any marks as well self-praise pulak. I guess in this department I am very blessed as well? :)

Leg Cramps:
Nope. Never experienced it before *phew*. Probably it's because I have always had the habit of sleeping on my side so I guess it helps? And no, I don't use those expensive sleep/maternity/hug pillows.

Occasional Sleep-Derived:
No idea why this happens but apparently it is normal. My sleeps are usually interrupted with lots of tossing and turning, frequent toilet trips (standard time is 2am, 4am, and 5:30am), weird dreams, and hot flushes.

Itchiness:
It does drives me up the walls. My tummy and boobs is always itchy! It is due to the stretching of the skin as both areas expand. Normal la, I guess.

Hot Flushes:
According to Dr Delaila, a pregnant's woman metabolic rate will increase up to 2 1/2 times compared to a normal woman. Which means your body burns fats more than twice as hard. Which translates to heat. The flushes can be quite annoying especially in our humid weather here. Hot flushes will lead to sweat which will lead to itchiness (refer above). Now you understand my predicament?

Boobs:
Your boobs is no longer what you thought it used to be. Suddenly it has increased in size (urgh!) - your bra becomes too tight and uncomfortable (couple it with the hot flushes and sweat and itchiness) and I do feel like walking around bra-less most of the time. Time to get myself those nursing bra/camisole already. Your nipple area becomes dry (no idea why) and for me, it started leaking (?!). I Googled and apparently it's colostrum which are good substance for your baby. Anyway, I'm just gonna be positive about it and take it as a good omen that I will produce large quantities of breast-milk for my baby when the time comes. :p

Gas:
I tend to burp and fart a lot. Very unlady like but can't be helped. I would rather get the air out then feel bloated the whole time.

Mild Heart Burn:
Happens usually when I take spicy and oily food. This one memang sendiri cari pasal - I love to eat curry and spicy food!!

So yeah, in a nutshell, that's my pregnancy update.

KidzHaven Child Care Center : For Peace of Mind.

Most mummies-to-be like me who are playing dual roles of having a baby and holding a full time job would have a headache and a growing concern on where to place your babies when you are at work. The best bet would be to place in the care of a babysitter during the weekdays.

However, with the on-going cases of babysitter abusing and causing death of infants, it is really a worrying issue. How do you trust your precious one in their hands? How sure are you that the environment that they are in is safe?

I know of the story of my clerk whose son died in the babysitter's place. He choked on milk. And he was only 9 months old.

Yes, terrifying story but very real.

So I have been searching around for a good and reliable babysitter around my area. Most of them operates from home - like a nanny. I am not convinced because the house doesn't look too hygienic and the nanny doesn't give me a sense of security enough for me to place my child in her care. Above all, she will be taking care of my baby alone. Whatever that happens in the house, no one will know.

As I was Googling, I chance upon a childcare center called KidzHaven in Jalan Gasing. It is a proper center and is run by the principal, Joanne. She speaks eloquently and most importantly is a certified Early Childhood Teacher. The center is licensed by MBPJ and JKM. So in other words, they are legit.

Dropped by the center with my parents and we loved it. We feel secure and convinced that my baby would be safe here. Here are the items that is skewing me towards choosing KidzHaven :

- Safe and conducive environment.
- Trained caretakers, in fact all are local Chinese aunties.
- Joanne will be there most of the time to monitor.
- Hygienic and clean.
- Bath time is twice a day.
- A ratio of 1caretaker to 3 babies. Max 6 babies at one time.
- For toddlers, a ratio of 1:5 kids.
- Total maximum capacity is 25 children (including 6 babies).
- 3 meals provided once babies goes semi-solid.
- Stimulating activities / play time, i.e. flashcards etc.
- Joanne is a Christian.

Joanne will also provide a log book at the end of the day for the parents, listing down what has been done, what are the feeding time etc. In that way, the parents will be constantly aware on what is going on at the center.

KidzHaven operates from 8:00am - 6:00pm, with a grace period of 30minutes for those parents who are stuck in a jam. Opens only on weekdays. The center will be closed on national public holidays and on Selangor state holidays. There will also be a 10 days period where the center will be closed (typically during CNY and Christmas time).

Fees are as follows:
Registration - RM100*
Full-Day Service (2 - 18 months) - RM900/month
Half-Day Service (2 - 18 months) - RM500/month (up until 1:00pm)
Full-Day Service (18 months above) - RM850/month
Basic toiletries - RM240/annually
Stationary & Learning Materials - RM240/annually**

*Upon registration, you would need to pay 1 month deposit in lieu of the 1 month fee.
** Only applicable for toddlers 18 months above.

For hygiene purposes, parents would need to provide the following which will be returned when it's no longer required:

- plastic mat for changing.
- mattress protector.
- 5 change of clothes.
- 5 pieces of disposable diapers.
- formula milk / expressed breast milk.*
- 4 feeding bottles and 1 bottle for water.*
- bath towel, face towel, bib.
- pillow, bolster, blanket etc.

*KidzHaven provided steriliser, warmer, and a machine to thaw the milk.

Yes, I agree the pricing is on the steep side. But would you rather pay more in exchange for peace of mind or save that money not knowing if your child is in safe hands?

Your pick.

Review : How Reliable is PYO Travel?

I know a lot of people are rather sceptical to book online travel deals. Me included. So when we did our bookings through PYO Travel for our Japan trip in February this year, I was honestly really concerned. Although we got it for a good deal, it was still a large sum of money to be paid upfront. Furthermore, all transactions were done via online.

Now that we have paid, gone, and came back from our trip, here is my feedback on PYO:

(1) Reliable. They are a subsidiary of Reliance Group. Need I say more?

(2) Value-For-Money. The packages that PYO offer is really cheap comparatively. Because they are part of Reliance, the itinerary are very similar to those that you pay for if you book under Reliance. Meaning, for almost the same thing, you only pay a fraction of the price.

(3) Service. The tours, hotels, and tour guide is top-notch. Again, it is because they are engaged under Reliance. During our trip, there was a family who paid the full Reliance tour package but followed us on some of the tours and hotel stay. So in other words, the hotel's condition and the location provided for is spot-on.

(4) Customer Support is So-So. The only problem that I have with PYO is that there is no one picking up on their support lines at all. If you were to go to their Facebook page, you would notice similar complains have been raised before. And yes, it has not been rectified yet. However, you can always drop an email to them at support@my.pyotravel.com, they are pretty fast at replying emails. Worse case, just write on their FB wall, they will almost immediately reply.

Ok.. understood. So I've made my payment, now what?

Since I am a planner, I emailed PYO and asked the following:
(1) What are the items that are not covered in the package?
(2) When will I receive my voucher confirmation?
(3) How can I select seats/meals/luggage on the AAX flight?

The above are crucial so that you won't be caught off-guard with additional charges. And yes, everything can be done via email. You need not worry because PYO will send a confirmation flight voucher (for those familiar with AAX bookings, it is the same voucher) on the items that you have selected and paid for (e.g. seating etc etc).

All in, I think that PYO is worth being given a try and since I have, I am pretty confident in them. Looks like I will be making more bookings through them when there are more good deals in the future.

Mission : To Conquer Sydney Before I Pop

Ever since my trip to Melbourne back in 2010, I fell in love with Australia. I love the culturethe sight-seeing, the food, and the weather.

Twelve Apostles, Melbourne

So this year, we are heading to Sydney instead (yes, even though I'm about 7 months pregnant). The plane tickets were booked in advance before I knew I was pregnant and I don't intend to burn it. I've never been there and Bear has been going on and on that I must make it a point to visit the place. Thank God we have friends who has offered their place throughout our stay in Sydney, if not honestly we wouldn't even thought of making the trip those darn exchange rates! So yeah.. one last trip before I pop. I'm rather excited actually. :D

Let's not talk about the must-go places that Bear intends to bring me, I'm sure it's pretty standard that everyone would probably know. What I'm gonna share is where Bear intends to bring me to feast! :)

Yes, I love pancakes and Bear said there is this awesome place in Darling Harbour that I must try out. Can't wait!! :)

Yums!

0_o *drools*

Bear is a huge fan of all things seafood - actually me too except for fish (unless if it is Dory). So this is more to satisfy Bear's cravings than mine actually. Accordingly since it's a fish market, the seafood here must be real fresh I reckon. I know Bear would love it, that's for sure.

(3) Harbour Cruise Lunch.
Pretty romantic yes? Dining on a cruise with the view of the city. :)

Ever since Bear came back from Sydney years ago he has been talking non-stop about the Woolloomooloo Hotdog and Pies - even until today! Well, if it is as good as it claims, I don't mind trying. It does look pretty yummy on photos though.

Chilli Hotdog

Pie & Mash

Erm.. I think that should be all that I could think of my head that Bear has said he will bring me to try. And I can't wait. Best part is.. I have an excuse to whack the food and gain weight and no one has a right to kutuk *ngek**ngek*

Of Confinement Ladies and Malay Urut Kakak

Nah .. as promised here is my week 20 halfway mark baby bump. Not very big isn't it? A lot of people has been commenting on how small my bump is but I'm not complaining cos I look more dainty instead of like a penguin and it is much easier to lose the weight thereafter. :) By the way I am now in my week 23 of the pregnancy, how time flies! Am still enjoying my second honeymoon trimester as there are nothing uncomfortable that I've to face at this point in time *hallelujah*

Since this is a dragon year aka influx of babies, I've made arrangement to book my confinement lady early (sometime in April this year). Admittedly, I didn't do much research when I should have, so I hope that this one would be a good one *fingers crossed*. The one that I initially wanted which my friend had used this year in Feb was already booked, so she recommended her friend.

Over the phone my CL sounds pleasant enough and most importantly she is not petty and calculative. I've already asked if I need her to cook extra for my husband or for my visiting relatives would that be charged extra, she said no. I really hope she wont be anal lazy when it comes to taking care of the baby too. I've heard horror stories that their CL don't encourage breast milk because the babies tend to get hungry fast and instead would insist on formula milk. I've already made it clear to her that I would want to breastfeed as much as I can, and in the night she has to use my expressed breast milk.

Last month or so, she actually called me up to ask how was I doing and to make sure everything is alright. Which in my opinion is a pretty nice thing to do. My CL is from Ipoh and she charges RM3,500 (deposit to be paid RM500). Angpow of RM100 to be paid when she starts work, and another one when she's off work (any amount). Yes, I know it's expensive.

Some have asked if I will follow the Chinese confinement way strictly, most likely I will be because it's a tradition that's been handed down from generations. Except for the not washing hair part. Thank God my mum will be sticking around to supervise keep a watchful eye over the CL cos honestly I won't know if I kena con or what also. Or if the CL slacks off for that matter.

In a typical 1Malaysia fashion (ceh.. tiba2 wanna be political pulak), I will be engaging in a Malay urut lady  as well to help me get back in shape pronto! The process will comprise of urut to ensure that your womb gets back in place and to buang angin. She will also massage your breast to stimulate milk production (no, I don't need my husband's help -.-"). Thereafter, it is followed by tungku which is hot stone massage, and finally bengkung which is to wrap your tummy and hips area very tightly to get back into your pre-pregnancy shape. [Note: You would need to buy the bengkung separately which is usually charged at RM50-60.]

Typically, you can do it rather immediately after your natural birth, and if for caesarian then preferably to wait for about 10 days first. Usually, Malays will urut 3-5 days straight depending on your needs and followed by another last one just before you finish your confinement. I think I will go for the 5 days straight.

I've googled and have shortlisted 3 based on recommendation from Malaysia Brides Forum and one from my Malay colleague. Here are the numbers in case if anyone is interested:

Aunty Aisyah : 012-223 5531
Charge : RM180-RM200
Duration : 2 1/2 - 3 hours
Opinion - I find her very pricey but since she's recommended by my colleague, there is a certain element of trust. Further, when I called her, she sounded the most professional among all and can speak pretty decent English.

Kak Zurina : 013-258 9094
Charge : RM100
Duration : 2 hours
Opinion - She is recommended by two different person in the forum.

Kak Ros : 016-969 0931
Charge : RM80
Duration : 2 hours
Opinion - Despite being recommended by one person in the forum, she sound kind of Indonesian-ish so honestly am not very convinced.

Do note that it is extremely important to get a proper and good one because she is massaging your womb area. You don't want to hire a bogus urut lady and end up getting worse off. Unlike the Chinese CL, for these Malay urut ladies, you need not book them in advance. You can actually call them once you've delivered.

I am now torn between Aunty Aisyah and Kak Zurina. We'll see how it goes at a later stage.

Review : Dr Delaila @ SDMC

Disclaimer: All pictures are from SDMC's website.

It was another one of those things that I kinda knew where I wanted to deliver my baby in the future. Everyone assumed it would be Assunta Hospital because it is the closest to home. But since the delivery wards are in the old wing, I find it kinda creepy. Further, the gynaes there have so-so reviews only.

Sime Darby Medical Centre ("SDMC") was always my number one choice. And it was all because of the ever famous Dr Siti. Everyone raves about how gentle she is, how soft-spoken she is, how patient she is. However, the downside to her is that she is perpetually busy due to her popularity and her waiting time is usually 2 hours at the minimum. Further, she only operates from the hospital so I reckon that my monthly appointment could be quite a pain.

Ok la.. to be fair, SJMC SDMC also has top-notch facilities, good nursing care, and they are pro breast-feeding.

The distinguish Dr Siti

So moving on and not giving up on SDMC, I further did my research online and found out that another popular choice was Dr Tang Boon Nee. Young and energetic, she apparently lights up the room and is quite a jovial person. The feedback was she is gentle and patient too - she will take her time to explain any of your queries. Alas, when I wanted to book an appointment with her, she was bully fook fully booked and at the same time won't be around for a week due to a seminar. So no choice lo, have to give her up as I was quite anxious to get my first scan done and to start proper pre-natal care the soonest possible.

Happy-go-lucky Dr Tang

I had colleagues who strongly recommend Dr Delaila but I wasn't too keen because she looked fierce. Yes, I know I shouldn't judge a book by its cover and form a perception without even meeting her yet. Due to the persistence of my colleagues and out of desperation, I told Bear that we would go ahead and try Dr Delaila at least for the first scan. If we didn't like her, we could always go back to Dr Siti or Dr Tang for subsequent follow-up care.

I *heart* my gynae, Dr Delaila so much

A major plus point about Dr Delaila is that she opens an evening clinic in SS19 during the weekdays up until 11pm or until the last patient leaves. Of course, occasionally she would have to close her clinic due to emergency /on-call at the hospital which is unavoidable. Basically, very convenient for us working people.

The first time I met her, I fell in love with her. It was literally love at first sight! The first thing she did was apologize for us having to wait so long (yes, she has a lot of patients too) and then proceeded to do the first scan. Because my uterus is terbalik (nothing major about that), she had to do a vaginal scan and she was soooo gentle!

The things I like about her is :
- Straight forward
- Funny
- Gentle
- Caring
- Patient
- Generous with MCs
- Very detailed doctor
- Obviously loves her job
- Passionate about babies
- Pro natural birth

Of course not everything is fine and dandy, but it can be overlooked.

(1) Incompetent nurses at her clinic. I don't understand why sometime no one picks up the phone or when you are at the clinic enquiring about something, no one layan you.

(2) Long waiting list. However, you can register first (registration opens at 7:00pm) and then go for your dinner and head back to the clinic thereafter. Usually, we would only head back close to 10:00pm because Dr Delaila only comes in around 8:30 - 8:45pm.

(3) Clinic tiba-tiba close. Can't be helped  - as mentioned before sometimes she needs to rush off for an emergency case. To be safe, before heading back to the clinic, please call first to check that the doctor is in. The good thing is that once you've registered, you can go back the following day without having to pre-register again.

(4) Pricing. Not exactly cheap and payment is by cash only. My average check-up would cost me somewhere around RM200. My last check-up which includes a blood test to test for Down Syndrome costed me RM500. Well, I am very blessed because pre-natal care is fully covered by my company so I can claim unlimited amount. :) Worse case scenario, there's an Agro Bank at the same row so you can withdraw cash from there.

Other than that, I am all for Dr Delaila. And if budget permits, I strongly recommend Dr Delaila. She is such an awesome and wonderful gynae. So glad we made the right choice at the first try. :)

P/S: To be fair, all the abovementioned doctors are pro natural birth doctors, just in case if you want to know.

Dr. Delaila's clinic is @ 03-56345744

Review : Anmum Materna (Taste-wise) :p

Actually, even before I was pregnant I always knew that I would eventually drink Anmum to aid the development of my unborn child. Probably the numerous ads on TV worked on me, I guess.

So after my first trimester when I've passed the vomitting stage (no idea why milk makes me throw up even worse), I started on Anmum Essential Materna. I've been hearing good testimonials from the doctors on the effect that the milk has on the baby once it's born. Heck, I've even seen it with my niece - the day she was born, she was so active and alert! *cute*

Of course, there is another school of thought that stressed that drinking the milk (any powdered milk for that matter) would cause the baby to be too big in the tummy, have a strong liking for formula milk, and gets too hyper-active.

Well, to me milk in general is good. So long as its being taken in moderation than it should not be a problem.

Anyways, I can't comment on how effective is Anmum cos my boy is not out from my tummy yet (duh!), but what I can comment though is the taste. Initially, I was quite apprehensive towards powdered milk because of the "cow's milk taste" which can be quite overwhelming. However, much to my delight, the milk taste like unsweetened vanilla milk. I especially love it that it is not sweet at all. So sedap ok! :)

Anmum Materna is amazing for the baby's development as it contains:
- Folate : For growth and division of cells.
- Folic acid fortified milk.
- Gangliosides & DHA : Enhances learning ability / memory retention.
- Probio DR10 & Prebiotic : Maintain good intestinal environment.
- Iron.
- Calcium.

With such good benefits as the above, I pray that my baby boy will grow up strong, smarter than daddy, and healthy. *Amen*

Anmum Materna is retailing for RM34. Tips: Cheaper to purchase in chinese medical halls.

It Ain't Cheap Having a Baby .. But It's Worth It :)

Disclaimer : All Photos are from The Baby Loft and Google.

Since I'm already close to 22 weeks and everything is pretty much stablised, we've decided to start doing our baby shopping little by little in hopes that other people will buy for us some stuff eventually to manage our cashflows. Also, to take advantage of the mega sales as well.

Being the planner that I am, I started off with a comprehensive checklist to manage our budget and to see which are essential items and which are our so-called "wish list" items (ahem.. guys please take note ok for baby shower, full moon, presents etc)

Todate, we have spent quite a substantial amount on essential "big items". Let me break it down for you :

(1) Halford S9 : Compact Reversible Stroller @ RM799.20 *ka ching!*

The reason why we chose this was :
- Can fit into my Myvi.
- High up which was my No.1 requirement so I don't have to bend.
- Relatively cheap compared to other brands.
- Can be forward-facing.
- Easy to fold and handle by myself.
- Light.
- Lovingly sponsored by my father-in-law *heart*.

(2) Britax : First Class Plus Convertible Car Seat @ RM959.20 *ka ching!*

The reason why we chose this was :
- Can fit into my Myvi.
- Can hold infant at birth up to 4 years old.
- Comes with newborn support pillow.
-VERY reliable and safe brand.
- Not really cheap .. but long-term wise it is good investment.
- Fully imported from UK.

(3)  Pamco : Sea Breeze Cot @ RM899.00 *ka ching!*

The reason why we chose this was:
- Made with Grade A NZ pine.
- Complied with NZ/US safety standards.
- 4-in-1 convertible : Bassinet, Cot, Junior Bed, and Sofa/Settee.
- Long-term investment.
- Packaged into a crib set and good quality mattress.

(4) Bumblebee : Latex Mattress + 7 pcs Crib Set @ RM521.10 *ka ching!*

The reason why we chose this was:
- Comes in a package deal with the cot - total savings of 13%.
- Latex mattress is by Getha.
- 7 pcs set : 2 Cot Bumper, Comforter, Bedsheet, Pillow, 2 Bolsters
- FYI, I chose a nicer design then the one above.

(4) Medela Swing Package @ RM759.00 *ka ching!*

The reason why we chose this was:
- Package deal : Cooler Bag + 3 Ice Pack + 8 Storage Bottles.
- Value for money.
- Everyone say Medela Swing is the best.

(5) Autumz : Electric Steam Sterilizer + Warmer Combo @ RM159.90 *ka ching!*

The reason why we chose this was:
- The combo deal is value for money.
- Friends recommended.
- Sterilizer big enough to fit breast pump.
- Versatile to fit any bottles.

(6) Avent : New Born Starter Set @ RM95.00 *ka ching!*

The reason why we chose this was:
- My aunt has jalan to get it for me real cheap (NP: RM189)
- Everyone swears by Avent.

(7) Misc : Baby Clothes, Changing Mat etc @ RM196.00 *ka ching!*
... and I still have not finish buying yet!

So all in .. so far we've spent a total of : RM3,589.20 (minus the stroller which was sponsored) *ka ching!* *ka ching!*

In view of the above, I wont be buay pai seh tell people lo if they wanna buy me stuff on the items which I think my baby would need. Here are my wish list and the estimated pricing:
  1. Graco Pack & Play Playard : RM599.00
  2. Ikea Changing Table : RM150.00 - RM300.00
  3. Bath Tub Stand : RM100.00
  4. Baby Monitor : RM200 - RM300
Yes, setting up a new nursery for an infant is not cheap but we will continue to trust God that He is our Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. :)

P/S: Tips - Try to get most of your items from one place so that the discount given to you can be more. Most of my items are bought from The Baby Loft, except for the Medela Swing Package and the Autumz Package which was online from Little Whiz.
