Too Good to Be True

Lately, there has been a craze with regards to this particular health product going round with my family. This product is non other than the Bamboo Detox Foot Patch. It is suppose to draw out toxins from your body via the sole of your feet. Now, these amazing inventions from Japan are not certified by any Health Ministry. Not too sure if these patches really works of not, but hey no harm in trying right?

These patches help to cleanse your body of waste products in an easy, convenient and painless way. Just place one patch on the soles of your feet before going to bed, and allow it to work while you sleep! The color of the patch will change according to the condition of your health. Those with health problems will notice the patches are initially darker the following morning. With regular use, the patches will progressively get lighter and lighter, indicating a steady improvement in your health and toxin levels.

The Bamboo Patch was developed based on the principle of tree trunks, which composed of numerous tiny tubes, are able to draw water and nutrients through the roots and up to all other parts of the tree. Expanding on the theory, different parts of the foot are connected to every other parts of our body, and hence foot detox patches are applied on the sole to help dispel waste products from the body.

What is in the patches?
- Bamboo Vinegar
- Tourmaline
- Dextrin
- Cellulose
- Powdered Doku-Dami
- Powdered Loquat Leaves
- Chitosan
- Vitamin C

How do you use it?
1. Wash your feet thoroughly.

2. Remove the adhesive from the plaster.

3. Paste the patch containing the ingredients on the adhesive.

4. Paste the whole thing at the sole of your feet.

5. Wear a pair of socks for enhancement.

Feeling?
It feels warm once the patch is on your feet. Other than that, I don't feel anything out of the ordinary.

Smell?
It smells like roasted wood. And the smell lingers loooong after the patch is removed in the morning. Not too bad la .. at least it reminds me of BBQ instead of some awful herbal concoction.

Verdict?
The following morning, this was what greeted me - a black patch (ewww!). Do I feel refreshed? Was there any difference? Er... no lo. But I will continue using for the next couple of days and see if the patches goes lighter or not. A bit skeptical though ...

My Dad said the black patch was the result of me eating nonsense junk food everyday. Can you feel the love?
